Considering how short some of these novella’s are, it’s amazing how much of an impact they can leave on you. Someone else aptly put that he’s the master of taking a simple concept and stretching it to it’s extremes. What if we could build a tower which pierces the heavens? What if we could remove people’s ability to perceive physical beauty? What if 1 == 0? I really enjoyed this collection and think it is worth reading solely for the story that inspired the movie Arrival. Favourite’s include: Story of Your Life, Tower of Babylon and Hell is the Absence of God. ...
